How to replace the excavator guide wheel?

There is an important part in the bulldozer: the guide wheel of the bulldozer is referred to as the guide wheel. It is one of the four-wheel belts of the crawler-type construction machinery chassis. Its main function is to support the weight of the crawler crane and allow the crawler to advance along the wheels. Among all the guide wheels that the editor has contacted, the Z-shun one is used in a treasure shop.

Its working principle: use a grease gun to inject grease into the grease cylinder through the grease nipple, make the piston extend out to push the tensioning spring, and move the guide wheel to the left to tension the track. When it is large, the spring is compressed to play a buffering role; after the excessive tension disappears, the compressed spring pushes the guide wheel to the original position, which can ensure sliding along the track frame to change the wheel spacing, ensure the disassembly and assembly of the track, and reduce the The impact of the walking process avoids the derailment of the rail chain.

1. First remove the crawler of the excavator.

Remove a single valve at the place of the grease nipple, release the grease inside, and push the guide wheel inward with a bucket to make the track as loose as possible. If the excavator used is below 150, remove the track pin. , If it is more than 150, then use the bucket to hook the crawler off. Remember to remove the single valve, otherwise it is difficult to remove the crawler, and it is even more difficult to install it.

2. Install the guide wheel.

The guide wheel installation is the same as the general wheel installation method. Use a jack to support the excavator, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws. After removing it, install the new wheels and apply lubricating oil to complete the installation.
