Drive wheels are widely used

The driving wheel of the car is the wheel connected to the drive axle, and the ground friction force on it moves forward to provide the driving force for the vehicle. After the power of the car engine passes through the gearbox, it is transmitted to the driving wheels through the drive axle to provide power for the driving of the vehicle. The drive wheels not only support the weight of the car, but also output power and torque.

The drive wheel converts the energy of the engine into kinetic energy, which drives the drive wheel to rotate, making the vehicle move forward or backward. It’s called a drive wheel.

The drive wheels are divided into front drive and rear drive or four-wheel drive. Front drive refers to front-wheel drive, that is, the front two wheels give the vehicle power, the rear drive and the rear two wheels give the vehicle power, and the four-wheel drive and the four wheels give the vehicle power.

Cars have front drive and rear drive. The driven wheel is called the driving wheel, and the undriven wheel is called the driven wheel. For example, a bicycle requires a person to get on the rear wheel, which is called a drive wheel. The front wheel of the car is driven by the forward movement of the rear wheel, and the front wheel is called the driven wheel or the driven wheel; the driven wheel has no power, so it plays a supporting role. Its rotation is driven by other drives, so it is called passive or drive-on-the-go.

Front drive wheel systems are the most widely used systems today. It can reduce the cost of the car, which is why many automakers are now adopting this drive system. Front-wheel drive is considerably less expensive than rear-wheel drive (RWD) in terms of manufacture and installation. It doesn’t go through the driveshaft under the cockpit, and it doesn’t need to make the rear axle housing. The transmission and differential are assembled in one housing, requiring fewer parts. This front-wheel-drive system also makes it easier for designers to install other components under the car, such as brakes, fuel systems, exhaust systems, and more.
